Tenna Frederiksen (Soprano) (1885, 16/5, København - 1954, 16/3, København)



Daughter of the painter N. C. Frederiksen. She studied under J. L. Nyrop in Copenhagen and then in Paris with Jean de Reszke. In 1906 she made her debut at the Royal Opera of Copenhagen and remained a highly respected member of this opera up to her retirement in 1939. Her repertoire included Tosca, Marguerite in ‘’Faust’’, Fidelio, Elsa in ‘’Lohengrin’’ and Desdemona in ‘’Otello’’.
