Max Hirzel (Tenor) (Zürich 1888 - Zürich 1957)


                                                                 Pinkerton

First he became an engineer and worked in Zwickau and Augsburg. Then he studied singing in Dresden with Dora Erl and Melitta Seckbach (whom he married) and in the 1917-1922 seasons appeared in Zurich.  He retired from the stage in 1949.
