Irnerio Costantini (Bass/Baritone) (Roma ? - ?)



His complete name was Irnerio Di Maria Costantini. He began his singing studies despite the opposition of his father and at the age of 16 entered at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he studied singing under Antonio Cotogni. He made his debut in 1902 at Teatro Sociale of Mantova. In 1922 he was a member of a artist’s group gathered under the name of "Soloists of the Sistine Chapel" which made a long tour in Australia and New Zeland.
